Adrenal Cocktail

Does anyone know how long it takes for Adrenal Cocktail to take effect? I have been using for 3 weeks but don't feel any different, but then I don't really know if I need it!

Sorry I can't answer your question - but can I ask please, what's "Adrenal cocktail"? I've been taking adrenal cortex for adrenal insufficiency (NutriAdrenal products didn't work for me as they're whole adrenal) but would be interested if there's something else I could try. Thanks!

There are several versions of the Adrenal Cocktail, most of them fairly simple, but some sites add bells and whistles to the basic recipe :

In that last link, one of the things they mention is taking adaptogens. Anyone with low cortisol should avoid Tulsi (Holy Basil) because it lowers cortisol.

I guess it depends what you are using it for.

Some swear by it for a good nights sleep as it helps balance glycemic issues concerning those 3-4am wake ups.

If you are using for long term adrenal recovery, then I guess it should be a part of your everyday diet long term.

It certainly isn't a quick fix but equally won't do any harm either.
