I would like to ask , I have Hypothyroidism/goiter, was put on Snythroid for several months..then was switched to Generic drug and it was useless. Got put back on Brand have done fine until now...developed bad taste in mouth, levels are too high..very low Vit D now, and Diabeties...originally developed bad taste and thought it was the Synthroid as changed drugstore, so last months supply changed back to different drugstore. At first thought the taste was getting better but not sure...would be interested in the Natural Synthr Ovid, how do you get it...since I just found out about the very low Vit D and Diabeties, all can cause a bad taste, plu have developed pain in bottom of feet..which is getting better. If someone can advise me on how to get the natural Synthroid, I would appreciate it... How can you find out the ingredients in Brand Synthroid. Thanks Sandi

Sandi. Here is a link to a website that shows the additives in the name brand Synthroid tablets by dosage. Not sure what you are asking about a natural Synthroid. All of Synthroid is synthetic... not natural. Are you asking about accessing natural desiccated thyroid extract? Your doctor should be able to prescribe it for you or you can find a doctor who prescribes it. Have you had thyroid labs, iron and saliva cortisol tests run lately? Low iron and stressed adrenals can change how effective your thyroid meds are. Low b-12 may be affecting the nerves in your feet. Diabetes can also cause neuropathy (nerve damage).

Some types of diabetes are autoimmune. Have you been checked for thyroid autoimmunity (Hashimoto's)?
