Good evening,

My wife is now 11 weeks pregnant. When she pregnancy was 5 weeks,we did thyroid test n found TSH 12. Dr. prescibed 100 mcg levo. Now we again check up TSH level and found normal 1.81.

I wants to know that she has to continue 100 mcg levo. eventhough TSH is in normal range?

Hi Hari

Yes - she must continue. The Levothyroxine she is taking is replacing the thyroid hormone she cannot make herself, it's very important for the baby's health, as well as for your wife's health. Hopefully your doctor will continue to monitor the situation during her pregnancy.
