Hi. I have been battling with the GPs for a year now and have almost come to the end of my tether! I have had a lot of bloods done but because all were in range they won't consider an antibody test even though I have a range of symptoms and already diagnosed Coeliac. I am seriously considering either going for a private consultation or ordering a test kit online. Does anybody have any thoughts or advice on this please? Thanks in advance x

Hi Have you had a Free T3 test? Initially my tSH and T4 were OK but FT3 below range which needed treating.

Hi Jackie. Thanks for replying. No I didn't have that tested. The doctors are reluctant to test for anything it seems! I really don't know what to do next
Order your own tests..you don't need a prescription.
I think I will order my own tests. Is there a recommended one?Blue Horizon seems to be popular. I don't really know where to start though. Ideally I'd like everything tested but that would cost a fortune - I think it's about £350 for T3 T4 FHS and antibodies. Should I start with T3? Or go for antibodies? And do I only need the thyroid peroxidase tested? SO CONFUSING!!!
