Well finally after two weeks I got my result. My tsh is 0.98 snd ft3 is 4.1. Doctors says I'm fine, the levo is working and refuses to see me. I can't handle the symptoms anymore. I'm at a loss. I can't handle the mood swings, excessive weight gain, exhaustion, not too mention the muscle and bone pain anymore.

Yvetteorourke, do you have the lab ref ranges (the figures in brackets after your results) and was T4 tested?
The receptionist would not give me that info but I know the lab refused to do T4 as tsh was within range. It was a job and half to just get the figures from her.
Yvette, I don't understand why it has to be made so difficult for patients. I suggest you contact the practice manager and ask for the ranges. If he isn't helpful tell him you will make a subject access request under the Data Protection Act to get your ranges.

FT3 4.1 is low in most ranges. A Levothyroxine dose increase should help or the addition of a small amount of T3. I think you will probably have to buy your own T3 and self medicate as your GP is insistent you are adequately dosed.
