Yup. That's really useful advice. Give them specific figures, measure your problems, don't generalise. I'd love to see a UK patient ask for a full range of adrenal tests plus thyroid plus massage therapy though! They live in a different world in private USA medicine.

Amazing to think they missed celiac, thyroid and AIG though. If she'd only ordered a cheap on-line celiac test for herself she'd have cut through the whole process.

That's very true. I often read ask your doctor for this test and that treatment, and I have a little giggle thinking of the blank looks that would be greeted with! lol

That's actually very good advice, GG, thanks for posting. Anything that makes it easier to communicate with a doctor is worth trying.
