Got Dr P Appointment Thur....

Managed to get a cancellation to see Dr P on Thur. Stopped taking Levo on Thur, supposed to be for 10 days. Felt much calmer and bit more energy over the weekend, but today hit a brick wall or extreme brain fog and fatigue. I havnt started on the Nutri Adrenal Plus I bought as was going to start with half a one or less on 6th day. Dr P's secretary said to order Nutri Thyroid as he would probably suggest that to start with - I notice it got BOVINE in it not Porcine. Secretary said to start taking 50mcg of Levo if I feel really bad. Ive had to do this this afternoon as ive got to drive to take my son to school and also go to work each day. Did have to go to bed after work at 4pm though.

Nutri-thyroid is a glandular made from cows in New Zealand, where they have not been exposed to BSE. It is much weaker than Natural Dessicated Thyroid, which is made from pig thyroid.

I followed Dr P's regime and it didn't help me, we are all different. It cost me several months and £'s, I know that he has helped many people but it NAE's etc were not for me.

I am a bit concerned that his secretary was advising you about your medication though!

That's similar to what happened to me when I first saw him 2 years ago. I managed to stop the levo for 4 days (I was 100mcg at the time), but put myself back on 50mcg. Then after a few weeks I added in 2 tablets of nutri thyroid - which I take to this day.

The nutri adrenal extra is also bovine, also i believe from new Zealand as they never had bse. It will soon be Thursday where hopefully you will get some answers and a plan ☺
