What has 300 g of alfalfa in it? I think you might have to give a little more information if you want replies. I Don't think alfalfa is harmful, but I fail to see why they would put it in a vit K2 supplement???

Can't use that link, I'm afraid, not available in my country!

How much is it? Vit K2 isn't expensive. See here :

amazon.co.uk/Veganicity-Vit...

If it's cheap it's probably because there's not much vitamin in it, it's full of alfalfa.

However, I see no reason not to ingest alfalfa. I've never heard of it being bad for hypos. You would have to try it and see, I'm afraid.

the ones im looking at are £10.70 for 100 free delivery

Alfalfa300 mg†

Yup, that is cheap.

But I just found this :

webmd.com/vitamins-suppleme...

Alfalfa contains lots of vitamins, including vit K2. BUT it stops cholesterol being absorbed. And that is not always a good thing, because you need cholesterol to make hormones.

Have a good look at the adverse effects in the link and see what you think about taking it. Don't think I would take it.

Go to webmd.com , choose the US version of the site (if offered a choice) and then do a search for alfalfa.

You need the link referring to Vitamin and Supplement results for alfalfa.

I wonder if it is the healthunlocked redirect that is causing a problem?

Yes, I think so, HB.

thank you ill give it a miss not sure if im hashis or not but im autoimmune with HS and just read this bit that made up my mind

“Auto-immune diseases” such as multiple sclerosis (MS), lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), or other conditions: Alfalfa might cause the immune system to become more active, and this could increase the symptoms of auto-immune diseases. There are two case reports of SLE patients experiencing disease flare after taking alfalfa seed products long-term. If you have an auto-immune condition, it’s best to avoid using alfalfa until more is known.

Cheap supplements are usually cheap for a reason.

Hi Mandy If you gonna take K2 it's best to take with a balance of D3 and vice versa.I take a D3 with K2 spray for better absorption and no upset tum.its by good health naturally nutrition and was bought on Internet.cant remember how much tho sorry.

Well done for quitting smoking, wish I could! But although you have eliminated all the crap stuff and tar from ciggies,by still vaping you are of course taking in nicotine, which is the only ingredient in cigs that will narrow arteries with each puff therefor it likely to be that which is causing the fast pulse and heart palps higher than ideal BP etc.

ive read about taking it with D3 so thought i had better get some

4 weeks smoke free now and i actually put my ecig down where as before i was holding it allmost all day, im trying lower mg liquids and eventually want to go nic free, i just had a huge bundle of liquids sent me free from an ecig group at 18mg and its too much for me so got some nic free to weaken it, i think anxiety is playing a huge part at the moment as well
