How solid is the evidence based for hair tests?

I wondered that too , I've had hair tests in the past and wasn't convinced but wondered if anyone's had anything like this ?

Not even sure if it's available here and isn't Dr Wilson in the usa ?

I did the Saliva adrenal test, which tests your adrenal levels now, today, not what they were last week or last month.

Yes I did the saliva test also....I had very little cortisol in the morning and I dropped to nothing and stayed there all day and night. But it didn't tell me why or how to fix it. I'm going to see my Functional Doctor tomorrow and I am going to ask him a bunch of questions and see what he knows about it.

Hi tinamd, I am in the same situation now, I see that this post is 8 years ago but would be really interested to know if you had any luck getting treated and feeling better? And if so, if your functional practitioner helped, please could you pm me the details of who you saw?
