Advice for a friend

These are a friend of mine blood tests. She feels tired, still depressed on antidepressants, angry, moody, put a lot of weight, palpitations, dry skin to name a few. Thank you for any ideas.

Brubru, your friend's TSH is high enough for her to be experiencing hypothyroid symptoms but she isn't likely to get treatment until it is over range. Her FT4 is just over 50% in range and FT3 is just under half way in range. Antidepressants can lower T3 but good levels of vitamin D can aid T4 to T3 conversion so ask your friend to have her vitD tested and supplement if it is low.

Thank you clutter! I've just passed the information to her. I though she could trial some ndt but she doesn't feel confident. Hopefully she will feel better just supplementing.
