Just out of interest.. Does anyone's nose run when the do physical things & get too hot... When I'm working I heat up very quickly.. I need a fan on 12 months of the year at work & I'm constantly wiping my nose.. It's happened for years, maybe related to hypo or maybe not.., ??

Rudeboy, you've changed back :-D

Temperature regulation is definitely a hypothyroid problem. I think runny nose is very common and not necessarily a hypo thing. My nose has always run when coming in from or going out into the cold. It seems to be the change in temperature which affects me.

Rudeboy, Must make your nose very sore. Trouble is anything the GP is likely to give you will probably make you feel stuffed up.

When I come out of the shower, every time. I think mine is a sinus thing and the steam helps clear the sinuses. I found when I was working in an office with air con/heat my sinuses hurt like hell. But I think it was drying me out too much. I ended up with inflammation of the eye due to dry conditions (I also had a virus and sinuses all over the place)

My gp told me I had chronic post nasal drip about 20 yrs ago when I complained about always sniffling. Over the years it has got to the point it runs most of the time, but especially due to temp changes. I was told by another gp that this is a symptom of Hypo. I have tissues everywhere, up my sleeve, in my pockets, handbag, every room in the house and in the car
