About two years ago I stopped using regular soaps and shampoos. I use a bar soap which contains only saponified organic extra virgin coconut oil and water for my soap and shampoo. I noticed a huge difference in the way I feel, but it took about a year to feel that way. I sleep better, usually, more soundly.

Whatever is in the soap is absorbed through the skin and would build up over time. It makes sense that you would get the full benefit over quite a period of time of using a more natural product. I am trying cider vinegar as a cleanser - I was a bit shocked at how grubby my face was when I first used it - took ages to get all the grime off! I will look out for that soap it sounds lovely
