The low thyroid could acount for the apathy and tiredness, but he already has a depression diagnosis. Bet they don't connect the two.

I did say to myself when the storyline unfolded that it could be a thyroid problem and thought that would be great to shake the country up but I must admit I'm now feeling nervous about how it unfolds so I hope it doesn't make our situation worse. It sounds as though this idea has been put forward when he was on holiday with Liz so it might well bring up the point that the guidelines here are flawed, I hope so.

I believe that the actor who plays Steve (Simon Gregson) is actually ill with a so far un-diagnosed condition, which is similar to Steves.

Not actually sure but recall seeing or hearing that somewhere.

Have just googled Simon Gregson and yes, he is really ill with a "Mystery illness" I hope they soon sort him out to better health. At least with his status as a well known actor he will be able to get the best of help.

It has raised awareness I had a phone call saying did you see corrie it mentioned thyroid symptoms . Tsh normal isn't good enough

Saw that and hope anything that can raise awareness is required lets hope if they go with this then they cover that we are depressed because we are tired and cannot function properly due to poor meds
