I have never heard of 'fightback'. They may be a small charitable organisation in your area. I live in Wales, no sure if we have them here. However, I was a Welare Rights Officer and come from a CAB background - so am familiar with DLA. People can no longer make new claims for DLA as it has been replaced by PIP (Personal Independence Payment).

Are you referring to an existing DLA claim? or are you wanted to make a new claim, if so, it's PIP that needs to be applied for and to make the claim, the first part is done over the phone- just take the basics, name, address, NINO, Drs, contact no, what medical probs are called - just the names will do. Part 2 is then sent in the post as a form to be completed - if your not familiar with these - try an org who can help, like the one you mentioned or CAB. Also, your local council should have a Welfare Right Service, and even the DWP/Disability and Carer's service can send out a visiting officer to your home to help complete forms. Also, if there is a law centre in your area - they can do the same.

Or are your migrating form DLA over to PIP?

If maybe you could give me a bit more info, then I can hopefully point you in the right direction. x

Thanks for the replies.....I was interested to find out if anyone had expereince of them because they dont only help with claom filling but they can legally challenge. Also they come out to see people at home which i thought was a bonus.

If you go on to facebook they are members and seem to have a lot of success dealing with DLA claims and the new incapacity, if you are a member of FB you will find them easily and you can see all their successes. Hope this helps.
