Do you have Hashimotos ? If so going gluten free may help you to feel well. It doesn't work instantly and some of the processes are invisible and you may think it is not working - however you may be surprised
It does not work for everyone. I was a latecomer having decided to go GF over a year ago and many things have improved. I could of course attribute that to other things like B12 injections - increased VitD - so many factors involved in the Thyroid puzzle
Go and see your doctor asap. In fact, ask for an emergency appointment. Bloating/bloated feelings that last more than a few days is a red flag symptom for ovarian cancer (and to a lesser extent some other cancers). They should refer you for an urgent scan.
Its a frightening prospect, and of course most people (including me) end up with nothing serious or at least nothing immediately lifethreatening. But get yourself seen asap.
I am sure your reply was meant to be helpful, but really I think you should think before you post such dramatic statements.
Hi I have been having stomach problems for months now and I'm convinced its because of my thyroid and menopause, and hormones that are all over the place, was at A&E 2 weeks ago,for the last 3 months been feeling nauseated and actually being sick daily, waken at 4 am and thats me feeling sick all day,got an endo appointment next week and cant wait to go,was on the phone to my GP 10 minutes ago to ask for vitamin and mineral blood test only to be told I couldnt have any done, they are so unhelpful at times, hope you feel better soon
My Adrenal Specialist has recommended Betaine for low stomach acid as part of my daily regime, it seems low stomach acid can cause all sorts of symptoms.
