Thrush

Hi can I just ask is it safe to take thrush treatment while on levothyroxine don't want it effecting my meds thanks in advance

Are you able to leave 4 hours between taking levo and your medication as that would be o.k.? If you've to take more doses of the thrush medication you will be able to spread it out during the day.

I hope you feel better quite soon as thrush is very unpleasant.

Once you are over this bout. Try to cut out as much sugar as possible as thrush feeds on sugar. My daughter gets thrush as she is on the 'pill' . Since I have drastically cut down on sugar, I find I don't seem to have the problem, whereas I used to get thrush constantly. Depriving thrush of its food does work and also taking a probiotic helps too.

Thanks I will do I don't eat much sugary stuff but I will take a good probiotic it's a really bad bout this time I get it quite a bit

I have taken thyroxine with thrush treatment pills. Only get thrush after antibiotics or if iron is low

I go for my blood test tomorrow their going to check iron an vit d etc this time
