Hi, Natalie.

Thyroid peroxidase antibodies are positive for autoimmune thyroid disease (Hashimoto's) which is causing your hypothyroidism. They're not very high so you may be able to get rid of them or at least preventing them rising by adopting a gluten-free diet.

Thanks clutter you're a star! Btw I have been totally gluten free for about 6 months now and oddly enough my tpo was tested about 8 months ago when I was eating gluten and it was negative - how can this be?

Natalie, not sure, other than gluten obviously wasn't the trigger for your Hashi's.
