Who's managing your thyroid condition? Are you under an Endo? If you could post up a bit more info it would help.

no not under any endo just been up and down on throxine for 4 years now
Paul, your TSH is still far to high but your FT4 looks good. It would be interesting to know what your FT3 is. T3 is the active hormone which is converted from T4. Your FT4 is good but if you have conversion issues your FT3 may be low and this can make you very symptomatic. On 275mcg one would expect to see your TSH suppressed <0.03. I think you should ask your GP to refer you to an endocrinologist for investigation into your continued high TSH.

hi clutter thanks for reply I have one of those gps that only give tsh and t4 levels never had any other test been up and down on throxine for 4 years now thanks
Paul, it may be worth ordering a private FT3 test from Blue Horizon or Genova thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...
Has your TSH been in range since you started Levothyroxine? I notice it was higher 5 months ago so the increased dose helped. It may be that you have some resistance to thyroid hormone and need a higher dose or the addition of some Liothyronine (T3) and I think an endo referral is warranted to sort it out.
Email louise.warvill@thyroiduk.org.uk for a list of recommended endos in your area before requesting a referral.
A dose is correct if you feel well on it. How do you feel?
Having said that, your TSH is very high. Given the amount of thyroxine you are taking, it would appear you have a conversion problem. But you definately need an FT3 test to find out.
