Shazzy, are you on any medication? Your results look hyperthyroid (over active) or overmedicated if you are on Levothyroxine.

Shazzy, fatigue, palpitations and heart flutters are symptoms of over medication as well as under medication.

Your Sept FT3 is probably a little high still (I can't see the lab ref range) but is a great improvement on your July Ft3. T3 will help get your metabolism regulated but it isn't a diet aid or fat burner. The weight you've gained may be mucin and water rather than fat and may be difficult to shift. A gluten free diet is often helpful for hypo and Hashi patients and helps reduce bloating and gas.

Acid reflux can be due to low stomach acid which is common in hypothyroid and Hashi patients. Betaine Pepsin taken before meals can increase acid and aid digestion, particularly of high protein meals. Raw apple cider vinegar in fruit juice or honey sweetened water before meals is also good for raising acid for digestion. 1/4 to 1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda in ACV and water is a good indigestion/heartburn remedy.

Ok thank You I already have a gluten free diet and follow the paleo I know t3 isn't a diet aid and to be honest the weight is just a long list of underactive problems I wouldn't mind if I wasn't a a active person I walk a lot on my good days I eat only organic as much as I can unless I eat out as very difficult I'm in bed by 9.30pm and struggle to wake in the morning I understand the blood is showing over but my body and symptoms are not I have had to buy all new clothes as can't fit into anything I'm so uncomfatle Iv gone from 9.8 to 12.3 and still weight is goin up Iv looked up wilsons syndrome and it says dieting can make it worse I wAs on the cambridge diet b4 I got down to 10.2 but felt unwell

Shazzy, You aren't hyperactive, you're over medicated. There are several hyperactive and Graves members who have gained a freat deal of weight although it is more common to lose it.

I hope Dr. Asher will be able to advise you but a starvation diet is not the way to go as it will slow your metabolism further and make you hang on to the weight.

How did you get on with new doc, or existing one. I have Hashi's. 4 stone up and depressing without the other symptoms, ESP fatigue. I'm thinking of going to homeopath. Getting desperate. Knew, feet, taking toll.

Do you have adrenal failure or Cushings?

Check into your fasting blood sugar and ask the doctor about armour and victoza. The cells might not be using the tsh in the blood. So the blood levels look hyperthyroid but the t3 doesn’t cross the cell. Cytomel and synthesis can not do what armour does.
