Abbreviations... help?

Hi guys,

Just got my slip to take bloods on Wednesday, here are the list of the tests required:

TFT

FBC

ESR

LFT

UIE? It looks like an I or an & in the middle but not 100% sure.

Also having my antibodies tested too... yay finally!

Can anyone give me a heads up about these?

TFT. Thyroid function test,

Fbc. Full blood count.

E. (cant spell it). sedimentation rate. ( checks for inflammation....).

Lft. Liver function test.... (Can be affected by thyroid)

U&E. urea and electrolytes test.....
