I was taking natural source raw thyroid which also contains adrenal, pituitary etc,

I was taking 7 per day, then I cut down to 2 per day now 1 per day. i began waking up for hours each night then i started cutting down, now I am exhausted much of the day.

i think i made too much cortisol, I'm wondering how long before i feel normal again.

Hi, if you haven't done so get your bloods tested asap. There are far more knowledgeable people on here than me but I don't think dropping from a very high dose to nothing is a very good idea, hopefully they will be along soon ☺

Are you taking thyroxine or NDT? I have found that I can't sleep when my dose is too low; I think I pump out adrenalin to counteract the hypothyroidism. Have a thyroid function test, including T4 and T3 to see if that is the case with you
