T3 Only question, please advise

This might sound stupid but when you take T3 only, would that raise or lower your FT3 blood result?

It would raise your ft3 and very often lower your ft4

Hi

I have been taking T3 only for over a year. I find that my T3 levels are elevated in the morning but come down as the day progresses but they are still higher than current tests predict.. T3 has a short half life so if you do not take any for 24 hours the amount in your blood becomes lower and lower until the point it virtually disappears. This of course depends on whether you manufacture any T4 and it converts well to T3.

Your T3 in blood test will be higher, and as stated above, your T4 may be non-existent and your TSH very low.

T3, although it is absorbed into your bloodstream quickly and it goes directly into our receptor cells which have to be saturated, the effect of this 1 dose will last for between one and three days.
