"Hope for Hashimotos" by Haskell
This rings a bell - it may have been reviewed for our magazine, or is currently out for review - am not in the office today - but can check tomorrow.. xx
I am reading it at the moment. I found it had helpful advice for helping to calm the antibodies, but don't yet know how successful it has been until next antibody blood test.
Yes, I am a fan of Dr Haskell and follow his advice quite closely. Since doing so I feel better than I have done for several years. My antibodies have been falling slowly - except for a blip last year when Mercury Pharma levo made me ill again. There are also some good presentations on his website of the same name where he explains Hashimoto's in simple, easy to understand terms.
Thanks for this pink bear. It is being promoted on amazon, so I might order it.
If ordering from Amazon, please use the link on the TUK homepage.... thyroiduk.org as we get a small commission for everything ordered via the link!
Thanks!

Thanks for reminding me!
Yes it is on the book shelf and yes I have read it ! I often suggest it to others here ....Always something new to learn in every book. Too far to send it to you from Sunny Crete ! x
Wish I was in sunny Crete, did go to sunny Turkey and Rhodes in May. I have A Haskell's book and have started to read, making a lot of sense. I am also reading Brownstein- Iodine, why you need it and about to do a urine/Iodine test, I think I could be low, we shall see. So thankful I found this site 16 months ago, doubt I would still be around otherwise!
