She has seen a succession of endocrinologists who are all diabetes specialists. Not one of them has specialised in thyroid problems. Can anyone please help me to help her?

You may have to travel but it will be worth it. If your sister has a copy of her latest blood test results, with the ranges, some members may be able to help/advise in some way too.
