After seeing my doctor he has happily agreed to Increase my dosage to 50mcg per day.

I can feel the impact of the inceease straight away which is good.

Hoping this will be the start of feeling better.

That's great news Matt. I hope some of our suggestions were useful :-)

One more thing, it's important to have a further blood test in 6 weeks' time to assess current levels post-increase.

That's good Matt and remember some GPs are apt to stop increasing medication when your TSH is in 'normal' range and that doesn't always help us. Some need a low or suppressed TSH/

That's good, and it means your body was pretty desperate for more thyroxine. You might find you need a bit more next time as your body adjusts to the new dose.

The full impact will not be felt for 4-6 weeks. So, it could get better!

Great news. 50 mcg is still a pretty low dose, though. Keep an eye on how you feel, and make sure you get regular and frequent blood tests for the rest of the year.
