Josephaine, do you have the lab ref ranges to go with those results? T3 looks very low according to most ranges I'm familiar with. How much Armour are you taking?

no but i am from Ireland and i think the ranges are same as the uk. and i am on 1.1/2

Josephaine, ranges vary considerably all over the UK. When you have blood tests always ask for the results with lab ref ranges, the figures in brackets after the result.

sorry i didn't know . i have manage to get the ref ranges sorry it took so long, TSH (0.27 - 4.20) my TSH 0.07 Ft4(12.00 - 22.00) my ft4 11.00 T3 (1.30 - 3.10 ) my t3 1.42

Thanks, Josephaine. TSH is often suppressed by the T3 in NDT and this can also make FT4 low as you are orally bypassing the need to convert FT4 to FT3. Ideally your FT3 will be >2.65 ie in the top 75% of your range.

Basically you need to increase your NDT dose, initially by 1/4 grain. When are your next thyroid blood tests due?

That's good timing. If you increase by 1/4 grain now your doctor will be able to authorise another increase, if required.
