Have always been slender. Feel weak and achy. Foggy and anxious at times. Quit smoking 1 1/2 yrs. ago. Lower back hurts and lower legs too. Doc said my vitals blood work was normal. No energy and get tired and sleepy .

Podgy, I think you are under medicated. Ask your physician to increase your Synthroid to bring your TSH down to low normal range. TSH just above/below 1.0 is usually comfortable for most people on thryoxine.

Fatigue, muscle weakness and pain can also be due to low or deficient ferritin, vitamin D, B12 and folate. Ferritin needs to be 70-90 for optimal absorption of thyroxine and vitD, B12 and folate should be high in range.

I agree with clutter that you are under medicated. Actually a lot of people feel best with a TSH below 1. Some experts believe that most people on Thyroxine actually do best with their TSH below 0.5. Of course, this won't be the case for everyone. Some will feel best with it above 1. 3.3 is definitely too high!
