How are you doing with the NHL you talked about a year ago ? Is your T4 converting into the active T3 ? So do you have any blood test results with ranges ? If you do - then please post them and we will be able to help. Perhaps the FT3 is just a little high and causing the anxiety. Also the T4 may not be converting into T3 - and instead becomes rT3.....

B12 levels ? VitD ? Have you had all the basic tests ?

NHL full remission since nov-sailed through treatment with no major dramas. Was taking 150 mcg thyroxine before my chemo-TSH was about 20 at this point. Sometime in March I began to feel increasingly anxious for no discernible reason, saw gp, bloods checked all levels now normal. Consultant haematologist agrees but I really feel quite unreasonably anxious .

Hi ddddd

When you reply to an answer you have to press the yellow Reply to this and the person is alerted by email. They can then respond to you otherwise they may be unaware that you require another response.

Never take 'normal' as an answer. Always get a print-out of your blood test results with the ranges as labs differ and it makes it easier for members to comment.. It is o.k. to have a low or suppressed TSH if you feel well. The aim, really, of thyroid gland hormones is to make you feel well but sometimes we are sensitive to fillers/binders and some doctors are apt to diagnose us according to the level of the TSH whilst ignoring clinical symptoms.

Hi ddddd. I don't know if you are still here as I've just gone to your profile and was told you don't exist ......... Without the associated range we can't say definitively but it seems that your TSH is suppressed ie slightly below range. But that doesn't mean it isn't normal - mine is suppressed to feel well-er than I otherwise would. Do you have your other thyroid results for a fuller picture? However, with my day job hat on, I think it is also perfectly reasonable to consider that in light of recent events re. your health, that you have anxiety post-diagnosis and treatment. During stressful events we can be focused and fine, then when it's over our brain gets the opportunity to wander around our memory of events and it can hit us suddenly that we've been through some unpleasant stuff, and then take a nosedive. So depending on what you can tell us about any other bloods, you might benefit from therapy of some sort to help with the anxiety.
