Hi all.
I've been getting heart irregularities. I went to GP and had an ECG and bloods.
The ECG showed up the heart irregularities. Pulse is normal (60-70 bpm) but my heart is missing beats then double beats!!!! Very strange fluttering sensation.
I'm now taking 100mcg T4 (125 before recent bloods) and 20mcg T3.
Latest bloods are:-
TSH 0.05 (0.55-4.78)
FT3 6.7 (3.50-6.50)
FT4 17 (9-23)
GP has reduce T4 by 25mcg to 100mcg as she said I'm over medicated.
I can see TSH is suppressed but I thought it always would be if taking T3! Is this correct? Is it too suppressed? Also T3 is slightly over normal range.
GP said being over medicated can cause these heart irregularities. My basal temperature is 34.9-36.1 over several months which suggests I'm still hypo/under medicated. I have hashimoto's and started to have trouble swallowing and the flutters make me cough. I think I have a swollen thyroid-not a visible goitre. I'm having a thyroid scan soon.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
