Does anybody else feel dizzy when walking?

Almost like you've had a drink!? Just dizzy in the head/eyes sort of feeling - if that makes sense. I don't get it any other time, only when walking outside. Didn't know if it was a thyroid thing, or just me!!

Lots of us get the same. I have very bad balance problems some days, slightest nudge and I can fall over

Yes, I did. Very dizzy, clumsy, tripping over, bumping into things.

Yes dreadful, now to the point I am reticent to go up escalators. Due to go to London soon and all I can think about is the Kings Cross escalators

Try facing the wall instead of looking up or down.

There are lifts at Kings Cross. I have to use the underground at times with changes of station. I have worked out a route for me using mainly lifts as I have a vertigo problem.

Yes, really bad some days, escalators are a no-no for me now, am sure I'm going to topple but It's good to know It's not just me!

There must be some lifts at Kings Cross surely?

Yes, to be honest I hadn't even thought of that, so thank you. I just hate that I am dreading something so simple. I hate to be beaten.

can be a sign of agoraphobia or panic attacks try concentrating on your breathing and stay calm- may help

Yep, me too. Vertiginous, wobbly, sometimes don't lift my foot as high as I think I am and trip, woozy, the works.

Yes - sometimes I went dizzy turning over in bed. My husband began having strange inexplicable vertigo-like attacks, feeling he was going to pass out. He went on NDT and they seemed to stop. He lowered the dose for about a week and they came back - we are monitoring - it was very worrying - he was very concerned that it was going to happen when he was driving. XX

Seriously surprised I've not done myself a serious injury! Not just a thyroid thing - also linked to meds for other conditions as well.

Yes i get the same i wake up as though i have a foggy head and have been drinking and i havent, i feel very wobbly to be honest when i was on steroids that feeling totally disappeared but now im not on them yes its all come back

All the replies re 'dizzy spells' makes me feel loads better knowing you are not on your own but wonder if it is Levo - having a thyroid problem can be very stressful.

I'm getting the feeling of walking on pillows, and it goes on and off! It's been 3/4 days🙄

I'm scared to go to the doctor with the covid going on!
