Hi Wendypartridge,

I have Hashimotos, not graves - but both autoimmune thyroid issues, and suspected fibro.

did you have any specific queries?

how long have you been diagnosed, and are you recieving any treatment / therapy?

Big gentle Hugs,

M

Hi GP told me I had fibromyalgia, then blamed the menopause then after my thyroid was tested said it eas overactive thyroid. Then the endo said it was Graves.Sooo def Graves but he never mentioned the other 2 again. All 3 just the 1 no idea!

Hi,

I am sorry you are on medication, yet are suffering other clinical symptoms too. This isn't unusual.

This is an archived site but has good information and Dr Lowe was also director of Fibromyalgia Research Foundation. Some of the links within may not work.

We have to read and learn as much as possible in order to try to recover our health.

Always get a print-out of your blood test results and if you have a query, post them. They must have the ranges as labs differ and it makes it easier to comment. If not already tested, ask for Vitamin B12, Vitamin D, iron, ferritin and folate.

Intolerance to Levothyroxine caused me fibro symptoms and they disappeared when I added in T3.

Ask for a referral to a rheumatologist to confirm diagnosis.
