I hope someone can help? I take Levo 100mg daily. The tabs contain lactose which, I believe, is causing some issues with my stomach. I am intolerant to Milk and gluten - tested by York labs. I have only had dietary issues since I was diagnosed...

Thanks. I have looked on their website and their specials do not contain lactose. Do you know whether they can be ordered into the doctors and then issued on prescription or do you have buy them directly?

As ever, the trusty TUK medicines page tells you of two makes:

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/treatm...

Both, from your point of view, unfortunately German.

Although neither obviously contains gluten, in a recent thread someone had been unable to get Henning to reassure them that it is 100% gluten-free - they thought that there was a possibility of cross-contamination in the factory.

All UK prescription medicines are gluten-free. But all UK levothyroxine tablets contain lactose.
