On T3 - what can I safely take for hot flushes?
Dr BDP recommends Wellsprings Serenity Natural Progesterone Cream:

It is easy to use and very effective - you can even rub a small amount onto the inside of your wrist for an almost immediate emergency relief. Use twice daily to control symptoms. I use it myself.

Is the wellsprings a uk site?Just wondering as to how long delivery takes. x
I'm hoping for reply to your query - the site looks like it might be UK.
Thanks, on going onto the shopping cart part looks like uk, says 5-10days for uk (more for outside)
Sorry my internet was off - happens about ten times a day at least, esp at weekends. I think you have found the answer! I have ordered several times from them and so far it has come earlier than they say every time. Their estimate is fairly conservative. XX It comes recommended by Dr P and he knows what he is doing, he has given me back my life by following his instructions.
I have used sage tincture in the past and it definitely helped
Thank you.
Is this available from a pharmacy?
Holland and Barrat
Great - they're coming one after another at the moment - a bit grim
You can buy sage leaves from the supermarket herb section and make it into a tea. Not as strong, but still useful

Thanks for this - since stopping the mini pill last month the flushes have started ..... they haven't left me red faced and dripping sweat as some people describe (yet!) but I find them uncomfortable.
Is it only available on line?
You might find agnus castus useful - can buy over the counter - or black cohosh, but it depends what's causing the flushes. You may find that when you body realises that it's not getting any more fake progesterone, it'll sort itself out. You might also find that you need to change the level of thyroid medication as it won't be being blocked by the fake hormones any more. You can only get progesterone cream online unless you have a prescription (fat chance from the NHS).
I've had my levels and medication checked only last week and both were considered appropriate.
Men seem to have it so easy compared to us gals!
I found evening primrose capsules worked best taken twice a day 1000 mg a high dose I know but one the dr prescribed
