You're right, very unladylike That'll be the staffie in her!
but very loveable and loving
India is lovely with people but very dog aggressive with dominant dogs and has viciously attacked my sister's JR and my Bruno several times. These are the two who 'fostered' her when she was a puppy, ungrateful minx. She has to be kept separate from other dogs because she turns without warning and is never let off the lead.
Turns out her GSD mother was a psycho. The father was a huge beautiful staffie with a very high pitched bark. Sounded so woosy and out of keeping with his appearance.
sounds exactly the same as Annie.she was 4 months when I got her and a rescue so no idea of what her parents were like.I can only let her off her lead when I am certain there are no other dogs around and away from roads,as soon as she sees other dogs she lunge sat them and sometimes screams .I have a job to hold her she is that strong and she has had me over a few times whilst trying to keep hold of her lead.she turns without warning too.i don't know which of her parents was the GSD and which the staffie.she lived with two other dogs in a flat of someone who worked full time and gave up a lurcher and Annie.annie was in the kennels mixing with other puppies and dogs and I introduced her to the two next door the day I brought her home and she was fine.then as she got older she would have a go at the two dogs thru the fence so couldn't let her in the backgarden.how old is India?she has chased after other dogs and might give a nip btu she has never bitten.
india's 8. She turned on Jenny when she was about 15/18 months old. Then Bruno. Not nips. She savaged them. No obvious trigger. She just turned. She's kept separate from the other dogs now.
whats the chance of them havign the same parentage?hwat part of the country are you in?is india staffie sized ?
India was born in Southgate, north London. Her litter sister is dodgy too. The mother GSD was eventually PTS but I don't know the reason. India is tall/slim for a Staffie and small GSD size. Head staffie but doesn't have the barrel chest and stocky legs. Is prone to put on weight but reduced food and a run with my niece every morning has sorted that and she looks quite gorgeous now.
She is lovely, I have an old dog quite like her who spends a lot of her day in a similar way
Gorgeous! Once you love a terrier you're a goner.
