Hi Everyone, I have been using them for T3 but now they want me to use a money transfer company which has really bad reviews! What has everyone else done or can someone recommend another company?

Please private pm me

Edited title in line with posting guidelines. Unfortunately we can not name the pharmacy.

22.Do not post advertisements, links or information of any sort whatsoever, on where or how to obtain UK prescription only medications without prescription.

Sorry I forgot

Is ok. Is a very worrying situation to be in!

Sorry I had to remove the name.

I am awaiting an email response from that very company to see if there is a method of them sending a payment request through PayPal. I haven't heard yet but I will let you know.

It should be possible to do a bank transfer through your online banking if you use it but there will be an admin charge. I think it's about £10 unless you have an international bank account.

Sorry I can't be more help. This is happening to pretty much all online pharmacies unless they insist on a prescription :(

There are other companies that can transfer but they specify the bad one!

As long as you have all the required details, you should be able to use whichever company you like to transfer the money. Xoom only works if you have a US back account or credit card anyway...

I don't know much about PayPal but I believe you can send money to someone who doesn't have a PayPal account as long as you have their email address or mobile phone number. This may be something worth looking into. I'm afraid I don't know much about this.

I use Paypal wherever I can as it is so easy and you don't have to keep putting all your security numbers, etc, everytime you order something. I hope the online services will use Paypal.

So far I've only paid for things but, as you say, you can now send money. Excerpt

To send money, all you need is the other person's email address or mobile phone number. If they don’t have a PayPal account already set up they'll be prompted to open one to receive the money.

To send money:

Log in to your PayPal account.

Click Send Money and follow the on-screen instructions.

This may well be an option, all as maybe a debit card. Things are suddenly not looking quite so bleak!

shaws profile image
shawsAdministrator in reply toPinkNinja

Does it only say a particular credit card or is it all credit cards?

PinkNinja profile image
PinkNinja in reply toshaws

It seems that it is all credit and debit cards.

shaws profile image
shawsAdministrator in reply toPinkNinja

That's awful news for many people.

Hi. It is all cards. Just been to the bank and they can transfer it for £25 so will go on Monday to try it.

in reply toPinkNinja

I've always used a debit card as my cc provider blocked my card! Are the European suppliers of T3 (self-medicating) affected?

PinkNinja profile image

If they are only supplying with a prescription, it should be business as usual. It is the ones that provides without a prescription that are the problem.

in reply toPinkNinja

OK thanks. Presumably one couldn't rock up in person at a pharmacy in France and buy T3?

Thanks, i will try this option

I seem to have made a purchase which has gone through, or is it possible I will receive a message later telling me that it hasn't gone through? I have a Santander debit card.

Muppet profile image
Muppet in reply tomarram

I tried that last night but nothing has happened - no confirmation email as normal.

PinkNinja profile image
PinkNinja in reply tomarram

It didn't even give me the option. It only gives the option of a wire transfer.

Is this our friendly tortilla supplier? ;)

marram profile image
marram in reply toPinkNinja

Yes, it is. I have had a confirmation of my order with an order number, and they tell me they will update me when payment has gone through. Usually that is a couple of days later. So the next 2 days are going to be the longest of my life.

PinkNinja profile image
PinkNinja in reply tomarram

Where did you enter the details? There was only a wire transfer option...

PinkNinja profile image
PinkNinja in reply tomarram

Hopefully, being a debit card, it will go through!

in reply tomarram

Hi marram, I used a Santander debit card and had confirmation by email same day and then confirmation by bank security next morning checking whether or not it was an attempted raid. Now I'm going to spend the next 14 to 21 days waiting for the postman.

Muppet profile image
Muppet in reply tomarram

Have you received a response?

marram profile image
marram in reply toMuppet

I got the initial automated reply confirming the order has been received. Usually I get another about 2 days later saying it is being processed, then another when it is labelled and another when it is posted! So far only the first. I will wait until Monday, if I get nothing more then, I will email them to ask if the transaction has been refused and asking them to invoice me via Paypal so I can pay. I don't know if communications have been affected but there was an earthquake in Mexico this morning which did affect Mexico City and quite a large area.

I ordered my T3 from Mexico, but the bank always wants a phone call to verify it, mine is Santander and once I ring and give the ok, all is well, they said its because its an over seas order, goods arrived today,

marram profile image
marram

I've never even had to make a phone call, maybe because I have been buying abroad all the time, from all kinds of different places. but with all the problems I can't help wondering what will happen next.

susie59 profile image
susie59 in reply tomarram

I think the only reason I had to make a phone call was because a card got stolen not too long ago and they are being extra vigilant, the pharmacy were very good in sending emails and keeping me up to date, they said they had a delay their end, but I got the parcel today :),

susie59 profile image
susie59 in reply tomarram

it did take 2 days for confirmation of money received , perhaps you could ring your bank?

Don't want to rock the boat, see what happens.

I am sure it will be ok, good luck.

Can anyone here confirm how they send their packages? I am in Sweden and am going to purchase off them as well... however I am worried about customs. Is it normal mail or via one of the worldwide delivery companies.

On their site there is a message about what has happened if you go to the "About Us" section and on the right bar there is a section called "recent posts". It is there where they explained what has happened and what they are doing to try to fix it :-)

I am waiting to see what happens before I make my order....

Carolyn, its because you are on the wrong country site, They have several sites set up with different country extensions. If you find the site where you tick, photocopy prescription you will be fine. And its a good idea to register with them.

Hi Guys,

I don't know which pharmacy you are referring to in this thread, but I went to order some more NDT from the pharmacy that operates from Vanatu in the Pacific where there was no prescription needed and could pay by Mastercard. Now all of a sudden both these requirements have changed - will not process Mastercard and now require prescription as well. OMG.

Are there others who have found this as I'm in a panic of where to get my NDT.

Thanks

HarryE in reply toGiagal

If you are an existing customer, email them and they will process your order.

HarryE profile image
HarryE in reply toGiagal

You will need a different card though, as they still haven't sorted out MasterCard payments.
