I know there is a school of thought that says Levo is best taken at night, I'm just wondering if there is a similar theory about NDT. I need to take various supplements in addition and more importantly omeprazole for GERD particularly with anti-inflammatory medication that I take twice a day. Waiting 4 hours in the morning after NDT before I take omeprazole is causing a lot of discomfort, and I'm wondering if there is a better way around it? Any replies gratefully received

If you decide to take NDT at bedtime, make sure you don't eat for 2 hours before and take with 1 glass of water.

Thanks shaws.
I'm aware about the strength of feeling over PPI medication and absorption problems, and I wouldn't take them if I didn't need to. I have a defective sphincter which fails to seal off the contents of my stomach, acid included, and short of surgery which I will avoid at all costs, omeprazole is the only way of controlling some of the discomfort when things resurface. Sorry if I've over-shared, I just thought I should explain why I'm not following, otherwise very good advice!
I take mine at 3:00am. I know it sounds weird, but I was used to getting up and using the restroom at that time anyway. If I take it before I go to bed then I seem to wake up too early. If I take it at 3:00, then I tend to go right back to sleep and wake up ready to take my iron and all my other medications. I set my alarm on vibrate only so I don't wake up my spouse. I got the idea from several others on this site.
