Hydrocortisone dosing for dental work

Hi, I'm on 35mg of HC a day taken (12.5, 10, 10, 2.5). I have some dental cavity work that needs addressing and I'm wondering if I need to increase the dose and what that might look like?

I trust you are using a holistic dentist and that you will not be having mercury fillings?

What is the problem with the mercury fillings? I presume non white are mercury? I had one redone last week but couldn't afford the white as was 100 more

Just read up about mercury in fillings ..surely not getting used by dentist now?

As I understand it 'non white' fillings are amalgam (which is a mercury alloy). Unfortunately most dentists believe the hype that there is no risk. I'm not prepared to take their word for it.

If using white fillings, ask for confirmation it's not the kind that acts like oestrogen. If you have adrenal issues, i would avoid the injections that contain adrenalin. Best establish what the interation would be between hydrocortisone and the adrenalin type injections if u are having them.

In case you have a sensitivity to dental anaesthetics ask for adrenaline free. I use citanest/octapressin and it took a long time to find one that didn't cause problems.
