Hello I have got abdominal swelling too and look 6 months pregnant. .I've had every test the doctor could do but I'm now convinced it's the thyroid belly ..I've lost a stone since January with slimmming world and it's even more noticeable now but not sure if maybe we just have to live with it ...try to keep calm about it till you see doctor ..big hug lola x

Mine is rock hard too ..I've had it looked at by an endocrinologist as well. .no they don't call it that but on here we do and lots of us have it ..even for years..I'm sorry your finding it so hard to get a diagnosis have you went private as well? I've never been able to but if you can it might be an idea best wishes lola

Your dog's sense you are stressed by it all not necessarily that you have an illness x

u seem 2 give a lot of weight 2 ur dogs behaviour more than medical evidence and test results. They might just be wondering why ur so stressed out?

Try wheat free as I have tummy too but find when gluten free its much better I am b12.& D deficient inflamed liver & gut & now after 12 mths being ill now have a cyst on my kidney .You should not be having continual abdo pain .Could you have pelvic inflammatory disease.Have you been checked for ovarian cancer?

hi Marylyn .I have done all the food things esp cutting out wheat (fro a month).I was having the CA125 test done and over a period of time my gp said it had gone from 105 to 37,yet hospital in the second part of the same period(October and February) said it was 15 down to 14.they say scans are normal but im unsure. conflicting results.!

elevated ca125 not only for OC -could be thyroid related

When you go back to your Dr stress how much you are worried about your symptoms. I would also pay private for any tests or a referral. Know we shouldn't have to but it is worth it for peace of mind. What price is our precious health. Good luck.

If you've not started the menopause yet the belly COULD be fibroids. Do you get very heavy periods? They're a sign of fibroids.

Have you tried eliminating dairy from your diet? Milk can cause bad bloating of the stomach. Maybe worth trying, even if it's only to rule it out.
