I got a message from HU inviting me to add my pledge, I presumed it went to everyone. I'll try and copy it

No. You cannot change a fundamentally flawed system that rewards failure with funding points. GPs have been allowed to literally get away with murder for so long, they are untouchable and they know it - denying us specialist referrals, or refusing to prescribe as per specialist recommendations. It is downright criminal.

They do it because they know they can get away with it.

The entire system needs to be revamped and that's not going to happen - it is actually getting worse

I know it does, I work in it! But it is another platform to make that point at least

I'm sorry, but I think it is just a PR exercise and the patient will not be listened to.

But it is a platform, an opportunity, even if it is PR. I think saying nothing perpetuates the system.
