Is this the Thyro Gold which is obtained via 'Natural Thyroid Solutions'? I have not tried them but did seriously consider it as an option, however it seems quite expensive and this held me back.

It appeals to me because I have always had a reaction to eating pork too often, even from childhood, so as this is a bovinf extract from pasture-fed NZ cows, it also would be the only alternative for me if I ever did go to NDT, since that is what this is - Bovine NDT.

Yup. I just wanted a bit of feedback as heard so many good things about it and I just started on Thyroid Gold in between one and two 150 pills a day. I been trying it for a week so gonna see how I feel. I had one really good day during this week but gotta keep giving it time to work. I didnt feel fantastic on my levo....I fink I will give Thyro gold a go. Dont seem to be many people trying it so kinda on my own on this. To be honest if it works I be happy to pay for it as it not as expensive as you think esp for the 150 ones. 90 capsules in each bottle and that lasts a while if you only taking one or two a day. I dunno. they have higher strength too. I just think more people should try it so we can see if it actually works :) Goodluck on your journey.

I agree I wish more would try it. I struggle to pay for everything I need because I have to pay for T3, NutriAdrenal, Vit D3, Iron, COQ10, - all because I was on Levo for ages - and an inadequate dose too - and have been really poorly for a long time. Maybe at some future stage I will try it - I am in such a poor state at present that T3 is the only thing which helps me to function at all, I have no thyroid.

I would love to be on a natural product, I am sure it would be brilliant. If you do get on with it, please do keep us updated on your progress!

I will do. But yeah I hear ya...supplements etc they cost me a bit too....I have had fibro for eight years and been feeling rubbish and am hoping being diagnosed with Hashis that it may make the fibro better if I sort it. Do you have Hashis? Goodluck ....do you take b12 I heard that is good...selenium too. I was low on vit d and iron too but trying to fix it.

Not Hashi's, Graves', post TT and really would have been better on something like thyro-gold years ago. I have to get Selenium because my eye specialist has recommended it for my Thyroid Eye disease which has just come back - despite a TT 32 years ago I still have Graves' antibodies

Apparently Graves' never clears up in some people and even though the thyroid is gone it still attacks the eyes. It also suppresses the TSH so most Graves' sufferers who have had a TT are under-medicated, because the GPs treat on the TSH.

Mine has NEVER been above 2 since I was 13! Right now it is 0.01 and of course my GP would assume I am overdosed but he would most definitely be wrong.

Sorry for late reply....wow sounds complicated. Goodluck with that. I would definitely take the selenium. I will update on my reaction to Thyro gold ....I fink only a couple of folk on here trying it.
