Hi Louuise, Which part of Cornwall are you Living in??

I have been to Treliske three times now. The first time full of hope with a letter staying I was going to see DR C..Well there was no way I was going to see him,you only get to see his registrar. The first reg. I saw must have had a tick list under the desk. It was like sitting opposite a call centre operative. he reeled off simple questions but was not prepared to listen to mine. To give him his dues he got me T3. The second visit was worse,a female, she had made up her mind about me before she saw me. Told me all of my symptoms were not thyroid related,but didn't say what illness she thought I was suffering from. She wanted to reduce my meds. and was so abrupt,ending my consultation "because it is 5 o'clock." That was in Nov. I complained to the reception staff (later as they had gone home.) and got hold of the endo. nurse,who was good,more bloods,and no don't reduce meds.

After complaining I got an appointment with DR C. (Mon.13 Jan.) He was awful,patronising and pigheaded. As you will see from my other entries,things are on going but not good.

Sorry but I have to agree with beaton I'm afraid, hospitals all round the UK are lab obsessed. Will check out derriford lately. X
