If you have any problems at all with a med, report it on a yellow card..... If enough people do it, the med is investigated ..... Its really important to submit the card,,,,

Her 'old' ones, were Eltroxin, made by Goldshield that she never had problems with. The 'new' ones are made by Mercury |Pharma. She has asked re the fillers and Mercury swear they are the same, but she's doubtful, either as to whether they are the same, or proportions.

Yes I have heard of others with this problem. My friend Lynn has terrible problems with the mercury ones.... Yellow card!

Lawoman kindly asked this on my behalf as I was feeling so ill yesterday - can you please tell me what your friend's problems were? I feel like I have turned the clock back about 15 years and starting all over again with symptoms. Also bloods now showing me going hyper plus ANA results are showing problems again. Thanks

She feels very hypo again, cold, tired, bloated... Of course her doc doesn't believe her.....

Actually I have gone the other way - hyper! so they have reduced my 125mcg to 100mcg and I feel dreadful even though my blood results show otherwise. I found a spare 28tabs of Eltroxin so I am going to take that for 4 weeks to see if it makes a difference - I am convinced the Mercury Pharma is to blame. The ingredients may be the same as Eltroxin but maybe the actual quantities are different! I have looked at the Yellow Card thing and will pursue tomorrow - I have been pretty balanced now for 10 years and this is the only thing that has changed - thanks for that
