Hello, I was lucky enough to see the lovely Dr Skinner who prescribed my Levo, my GP continued my prescriptions but I suspect are about to withdraw their support for the treatment. How do I obtain your list of 'friendly' private Endo's please ?. Thank you in advance.

I've seen a few people mention Dr B at Warwick Nuffield hospital but I have no personal experience of her.
Once started on Levo treatment, don't GPs have to provide evidence before withdrawing treatment?

I have been called in to discuss my latest blood results, I just want to be prepared for whatever might happen, I also do not want to end up on too low a dose, Dr Skinner was very definite about what he considered to be my healthy dose.
Yes - be prepared! For this reason I keep a record of symptoms which I fill in once a month to show what happens when I'm undermedicated/optimal. Also add on current weight, pulse, do a 'mood' chart and so on. Thyroid uk do a great symptoms checklist which I print off and colour code. If I'm ever facing a reduction, or need an increase without having to become very ill first, I'll use all of this to fight my corner.
Good luck Lettie!

Cheers, didn't think to use the symptom checker and list the weight and moods. Fingers crossed, you keep well too x
