I've been taking probiotics for quite a while but mine are liquid that needs refrigerating, which is very inconvenient if I'm travelling. Can anyone suggest something high quality in capsule form?

Biokult is quite good, also the various Optibac ones which you can get from Nutricentre with a TUK discount (if you are a member).

I second Optibac (if you want something convenient/handy anywhere you are), the high strength ones.

For home use then you can make your own Kefir, cheap and full of BILLIONS of probiotics.

Thanks for this, I'm going to try the optibac, and possibly making some kefir. I've had a look at the link you sent but the only thing it doesn't say is what to do with it once you've made it. How much roughly would you consume daily and do you eat it neat or add it to other dishes. I've head sauerkraut is also similar?

do a search on internet on Kefir, you will find 'loads' of info. Once you made it up you keep it in fridge and I'd say to drink a cup per day (250ml), you can also make smoothies out of it, add it to cereal and recipes.

Know what you mean about keeping them in the fridge. I'm taking Lab4 BioCare , they come in capsule form but have to live in the fridge which means I always forget about them. I'm going t look at Optibac too.
