Can anyone tell me if taking iodine supplements can actually help with an under active thyroid, if so which one to take. I am on 75mcg Levothyroxine and some supplements say you have to discuss this with your GP if taking certain medication, or can I just buy over the counter, but need to know a good supplement. Thanks

Iadoral is often used but now that you are being treated, it is probably not a good idea and may interfere with your treatment.
