Since being on Levothyroxine I have almost constantly had strep throat, antibiotics take it away for a week or so, then it comes back,

I have had an ultrasound and have a multinodular goitre but she said none of them looked suspicious.

I doubt your GP would let you try T3 alone for several months, just to see if it was levo which is causing your throat problem.
