could my symptoms be adrenal fatigue?cortisol levels???

cold and tired all day.need to sleep after lunch and my dog automatically goes upstairs as he knows I sleep after lunch.warm up in evening and wake up at night so cant sleep.

I was told many years ago that I had low costisol levels but nothing was ever done about it!! it is very frustrating! At the same time, I was also diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and started on 50mcg Thyroxine. I asked about my Cortisol levels to be told I shouldn't take medication for that as it was terribly low and I would get very fat taking the steroids to treat it.....so I gave up!! I still feel cold all of the time, with a foggy head, headaches, dizziness and extreme fatique.....I think you should ask your G.P for bloods tests! I wish you well!!

Yes it could be. I have adrenal fatigue. If your thyroid meds dont work that is a sure sign, or start not being as effective. Low temperature is also a sign. I couldnt sleep at night either. if it werent for Dr P's help i dont know what would have happened to me!

How awful for you, but I couldn't help but be touched by your dog going upstairs automatically after lunch. I used to say 'Shall we go to bed?' to my beloved Lakeland terrier (now sadly gone) and she would do just that. Or she would take herself off to (my) bed on her own at night, and if I stayed up too late she would come out in the living room to give me a disapproving look.

Nothing matches napping with a dog.
