hi I normally post on ra site but thought you peeps might be able to advise me .I have ra for twelve months now had low b2 at the offset and was given acourse of injection a few moths ago I became very tired and asked gp if maybe it was my b12 again that was in sept ni on 12 months on he said that it was ok on tests in jan so looked at thyroid upped me to 50mg a day for 8 weeks then said still low so upped to 75mgs a day for 8 weeks 2 weeks to go yet ,could this be my ra medication methotrexate and sulphasizine throwing my underactive tyroid out perhaps aso on 5mg folic 5days blood pressure tabs hope you can help

Sometimes, if we have one autoimmune disease we may well get others, so it is possible that you have now two. I have two and others on this site have more than one.

Always get a copy of your thyroid gland blood test results with the ranges and post them if you have a question. As your GP is doing, you get an increase every so often till your symptoms are alleviated.

Do you take your levo with one glass of water before breakfast and wait around an hour before breakfast. If you are having a blood test in the morning, don't take your medication until afterwards and it the earlier the test the better.

If you take your levo at bedtime, miss out this dose and take it after blood test.
