Do you think it is coming from your wrists? Is it painful to pick things up and your fingers feel stiff and painful. It could be carpal tunnel syndrome due to swelling of the ligaments:-
Unfortunately yes - hands and feet can be really painful (and bones/joints/muscles). My wrists are ok by my hands are very bad - especially at the base of my thumbs. Luckily the pain in my feet takes my mind off my hands hurting
