Just a random thought. I doubt they'd try it because you would need to take powerful immuno suppressant drugs. You can live without a thyroid and many people here do just that after a TT, as you can take the missing hormones it would have produced. It's harder to live without lungs or a heart.
I know it would be no good for someone with hashi's as I assume the body would just attack the new thryoid but wondered about thyroid sufferers without hashi's.
